The Blues: The Sound of Rural Poverty
You will be examining artifacts reflective of life in Mississippi for many poor African-American Southerners in the early part of the 20th century, and how that life was reflected in Country Blues music. Using the artifacts below, you will be able to complete the "Questions for Road Trip Stations."
